Coyote heard Great Spirit come to her decision. She was there when Great Spirit told all the people that the many rules for living on the planet would be written in the sky so that everyone could see understand, and follow them.

Coyote wanted to be a part of this great work, thinking that all the creatures of the Earth would revere and admire her for being so instrumental to Great Spirit.
